TRE® and Polyvagal Theory with Dr. Stephen Porges and Dr. David Berceli

I am originally coming from Czech Republic and lived in the UK for the past 12 years. I studied veterinary medicine and have a diploma in veterinary nursing. As well as wanting to work with animals, I spent my childhood around mentally and physically disabled children through my mum's work and that was always where my heart was too.

In raw, human, loving connections. My self-care routine and path to inner well-being started when I was diagnosed with panic attacks back in 2014 and was given medication for my condition. This occurrence made me think " This can't be it;

I am sure there is another way... What is happening to me? ". I looked for information and I had some questions that I wanted to have answers for. People say everything happens for a reason and I believe without my past I wouldn't be where I am today. I still have anxiety and panic attacks sometimes, but I now know my own self better and I am aware of what I need to do to feel more centred, calm and less in my mind. For the past 7 years I have been actively experiencing and educating myself in the world of holistic healing, healthy diet, spiritual practice, fitness, ancient knowledge, alternative medicine, science and knowledge of my own body and the way it works.

My massage journey started in 2014 travelling to Southeast Asia, discovering & learning about massage, and it's importance and cultural rooting. Life changed for me from this experience as I began to learn Thai massage and built up knowledge of the craft for over 2 years.

In the same year I started to work with advanced Shamballa Reiky.

From this point my practice began to incorporate more spiritual elements.

I took a 1 year trip to Southeast Asia in 2017 and 1 of the countries I visited was India. I stayed for 2 months, and I already knew then, "I am coming back" because India shown me the importance of ritual, physical health, connection and community. After all this is how we heal our pains, with others and with love.

In 2019 I did a Level 3 VTCT course in Swedish massage, but I also knew back then that there was something missing and I was seeking deeper meaning in working with the body. I wanted to know more about the body, so I decided to travel back to India to study and experience myself again. I wanted to study in the country where massage originates and a country that holds so much precious and ancient knowledge about the BODY-MIND-SOUL connection.

Did I discover what I was looking for? Absolutely, more than I ever expected. I stayed in an Ashram where I learned about the effects of long silence, spiritual ritual, healthy food, community and yoga both as a movement and a way of life. It was a truly transforming experience for me, and my body began to open up and release a lot of trapped emotions and emotional pains. I felt fantastic! This kick-started my passion for bodywork and importance of self-care even more.

I studied Ayurvedic Marma massage in the Ayuskama Ayurveda Institute in the Himalayas, as well as Biodynamic Massage Rebalancing - Core Integration in Goa. I intensively studied massage and bodywork, experiencing changes with my own body, deepening my self-knowledge of my emotions, traumas, feelings, struggles, mind patterns and soul.

I also recognised changes happening in other people I met during my studying in India, and I felt really privileged to witness them. In 2021 I felt strong interest in science of the body and physiology of trauma so I signed up for a training in tension and trauma releasing excercises TRE® with PhD David Bercelli.

This has extensively expanded my knowledge about the body and the way I work with my clients today.

In 2023 I completed my 1.5 years long training to become TRE® provider. Recently I have decided to take a course in TMJ massage - jaw related issues. My journey never stopped and in the present moment I aducate myself more and more in somatic teachings. As of today, I am here, feeling noticeably transformed physically, mentally and spiritually. With growing expert understanding and an immense passion to help my clients and community.

A final word: I put the utmost respect and effort into my services and I acknowledge their importance.

My services improve every year to deliver the best of my knowledge and skill.

My biggest drive is to give everyone the tools to experience a comfortable body, a peaceful mind and a happiness in their spirit.
